2009

By carinkoch

Happy New Year to all my friends around the world!
In 2009 I will:

Play at least 18 events on the LPGA tour.

Blog more frequently  (easy to improve from 2008)

Live in sweden full time  again (I left in 1995..)

I am officially a resident of Sweden again! So far I am enjoying the winter here.   Phoenix weather was a lot  better for golf practise,  but time off from golf is important for me, and Swedish weather is great for that!

While I am resting from Golf, I am working a bit in the gym. I have also enjoyed some Ice skating with the kids… We had a few clear, cold days when all the lakes froze. it is special to skate on a lake! One morning,it snowed for the first time this winter. I got the sleds out, ready to hit the hills. By the time the boys were out of school it was raining… I am not sure who was more disappointed, me or the kids…

I am going to play a new event on the LPGA in a couple of weeks, in Brazil.  It will be my first time in South America!

See you soon again

Carin

    Carin,

As a non-insider I thought that the homecoming meant an ending of your carrier, which I can see is not the case. What kind of goal have you put up for this season and is it big differences in your plan comparing to other years?

Are you going to play Rochester, Corning, or Montclair this year?

    Carin,

Really miss seeing you around Phoenix. But family has to be the top priority. Hope all is well with everyone in your family. I have news about Ken C if your interested, call or email.
Good luck this season. Hope you play the Safeway (or what ever the name has changed to) here.

    Good Luck in 2009
You ended the season in style, keep it going. Hope you enjoy Brazil

Brazil was fun. It rained a lot unfortunately. Golf course was wet but nice. Food was great and people there are fantastic!
It was a good trip for me. I needed to play to find out the most important things to work on the next month. My goal this year is to play more consistently again. I started to feel better about my game in the fall, and I want to keep buildig on that and the good scores will come.
I will be in Phoenix for the tournament, looking forward to it!
I will play Rochester for sure, not sure yet about the other two. Scheduling is definately more challenging now that I have to travel across the pond to play…I do not want to leave the boys for too long at a time.

    Carin,

Good luck at the Honda. Very excited that you will come to Phoenix. Maybe I’ll see you out there. There is a new venue this year.
Hit’em straight and controlled. Again good luck.

Good Luck this week at the Honda. I am planning to travel to Phoenix in March. Hope the weather is nice, I am so tired of snow. I will be roaming the fairways at the Papago Municipal Golf Course. Hope to see you there.

Hej!
